Doda Police return 12 stolen and missing mobile phones to owners | KNO

DODA,FEB 03 (KNO) : The Doda police on today handed over one dozen mobile phones to their owners whose mobile phone were either stolen or went missing in last few months from various parts of Doda district. Doda Police had received various complaints regarding missing of mobiles Phones since last one month. The task of tracing these Mobile Phones was given to the cyber cell of DPO Doda. IMEI numbers of missing Mobiles were put on monitoring /tracing. One dozen mobiles sets were traced and collected, few of them from other District of state also. All these traced Mobile phones have been handed over to owners to-day at DPO Doda. SSP Doda Mohd Shabir said, "Generally we have found that those whose mobile got stolen or went missing, they have made perception that their mobile phone would not get returned. The Doda police traced such mobile phones and gave it to its owners to change this perception." The people have appreciated the role of Doda Police for prompt redressal of these grievances.(KNO)
